Easter Break

 

Thursday, 26th March 2026

 Hello, 

This is what we did in class: 

First, we worked on exercise 6 LISTENING & SPEAKING. ( pages100 and 101).

Then we worked on exercise 7 VIDO LISTENING. (page 101).

After that, and, to finish the unit, we worked on the 5 & 6 REVISE & CHECK section. 

And as whenever we finish a unit, you are given a File Test to do at home but we do the listening part of the test in class.

And, with this, we finished Unit 6.

This is what we did in class: 

First, we read 2 models of Written Mediation tasks.

Then, we continued with 2 listening comprehension tasks.

After that, we continued working on the book. pages 100 and 101.

There, we worked on the 4 VOCABULARY   section exercises a, b audio 6.15 e ( with its corresponding VOCABULARY BANK PAGE on page 233 ( DIY  and repairs).

Hi, 

This is what we did in class: 

First, we worked on a reading comprehension task given in class: Australia and this task had a listening comprehension task on the other side called 

Bags for Walkers. (you can listen to it clicking on the link)

Then, we moved to page 99 of the book and did 2 GRAMMAR a  can, could and be able to.

Continuing with the grammar section we moved on to page 215 Grammar Bank 6B.

To finish, we did some SPEAKING.

 Hi, 

This is what we did in class: 

First, we worked on page 97. Exercise 6 LISTENING. We also did the speaking on the same page.

Then, we moved to page 192. WRITING A REVIEW.  After working on the writing page the teacher send an assignment as homework. Write a review of a restaurant.

After that, we went back to page 98 and worked on secion 6B. Do it Yourself. There, we read the text on page 98 and did the highlighted words activity d.

To finish, we played Trivial Pursuit.

This is more or less what we did in class: 

First, we worked on the 4 LISTENING & SPEAKING section on page 95.

Then, we moved on to page 96 and completed exercise 5 GRAMMAR. There, we also worked on its corresponding GRAMMAR BANK section on page 214.

We ended the class speaking.

This is what we did in class. 

Today, we started UNIT 6 section 6A "What the waiter really thinks".

First, we worked on exercise 1. VOCABULARY on page 94. We also worked on the corresponding VOCABULARY BANK section on page 232.

Then, we did the pronunciation exercise. 2.

This is what we did in class: 

First, we did the listening comprehension tasks on File Test 5 that the teacher gave us because we have finished Unit 5.

Practical English: Time to tell the police.

To finish, we did a complete Speaking Exam practice including. Meditation, Monologue and interaction.

 Hi everyone, 

This is what we did in class: 

First,  we worked on page 82. exercise 4 LISTENING & SPEAKING.

audios 5.16  and 5.17

Then, we talked about the present perfect continuous. Exercise 5 with its correspongin GRAMMAR BANK section on page 213.

After that, we did exercise 6 PRUNCIATION AND SPEAKING. 

Then, the teacher gave a handout with some vocabulary and exercises about living in the city or living in the countrysied.

We finished talking about live in the city vs. life in the country.

This is pretty much what we did in class today: 

First, we corrected page 231 which we started working on last Tuesday. VOCABULARY BANK. Nature.

Then, we moved to page 191.

 Writing. An informal email. 

HOMEWORK:  Write an informail email.

Then, we worked on page 212 Grammar Bank.

After that, we moved to page 81. 2-VOCABULARY. The country.

This is what we did in class: 

First, after commenting the mock exams, we did a listening comprehension task.

Then, we started section 5B of the book. pages 80 and 81. A quiet life? Here, we completed exercises  a, b, c, d and e.

To finish, we completed page 231. VOCABULARY BANK. Nature.

We will correct it on Thursday.

This is more or less what we did in class: 

First, we worked on a handout given in class: On one side it had a reading comprehension entitled Africa, and on the other it had a listening comprehension task called Dolphins.

To finish, we did some speaking.

This is what we did in class: 

Today we started UNIT 5. SCREEN TIME.

First, we did exercisse 1 on page 76. VOCABULARY: Television.

Then, we moved to page 230. Vocabulary Bank: Television. including the mini-speaking on that page.

After that, we did exercise 3 LISTENING & SPEAKING.

First, we worked on a photocopy given in class: On one side it had a GRAMMAR exercise-3A and on the other VOCABULARY exercise 4A.

Hi, 

This is what we did in class: 

First we  worked on page 211, GRAMMAR BANK: 1st and 2nd conditional. Here we did and corrected exercise B in class.  By the way, the teacher gave some extra handouts on conditionals to do at home.

Then, we worked on a lesson about writing ARTICLES.

This is pretty much what we did in class: 

First, we did the vocabulary exercise 1e  on page 64. 

Then, we did the speaking exercise on the same page  64 followed by the listening exercise on the same page. It took a time to finish it because we made mini debates in big groups. (groups of 5).

After that, we did EXERCISE 3 LISTENING

To finish, we started to work on exercise 4. GRAMMAR. We also worked on page 211, GRAMMAR BANK: 1st and 2nd conditional. Here we did and corrected exercise a in class.

 HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hello and welcome back to school. 

This is what we did in class:

First, we worked on a photocopy given in class: Side 1- 2A grammar, present tenses. Side 2- 3B communicative- What's the preposition?  

Doing these two tasks took us a while because the communicative exercise had lots of questions.

Then,  we started Unit 4B- Put it on your C.V. 

There, we worked on page 64 VOCABULARY AND PRONUNCIATION with its corresponding VOCABULARY BANK section on page 229.

To finish, we did exercise e on page 64.
